Mojave Desert Archives LIBRARY CONSTRUCTION HAS BEGUN
3 December 2007. Construction of the the Mojave Desert Archives Library is finally underway! The Library will be built in the image of the historic Goffs Depot built by the Santa Fe Railway in 1900 and torn down in 1956. You can view images and read about daily progress at a special web log (blog).

Good Samaritans of Death Valley GOOD SAMARITANS OF DEATH VALLEY PUBLISHED
8 October 2005. New publication released. A true Death Valley story, neglected for nearly a century, about the efforts of a man and his dog to rob the desert of its menace. STATE APPROVES $500 THOUSAND FOR
MOJAVE DESERT ARCHIVES CONSTRUCTION
19 May 2005. The California Cultural and Historical Endowment (CCHE) has approved $500,000 for the Mojave Desert Heritage and Cultural Association to build the Goffs Depot / Mojave Desert Archives Library.
